Hello, I'm Ritvick, a 12th grader at the Tirupur Smart Modern School. I was raised in Tirupur,
a major center for the global apparel industry, so I was aware of the value of the global
supply chain and the jobs it generated in a small town like Tirupur. But I've also witnessed
the unseen faces of the industry, the workers who work behind the scenes without
acknowledgment or assistance, which is why I want to become a CEO (chief empathy officer)
so that I can use business to make the world a more compassionate and just place.
My Ambition
I want to be part of reshaping industries into places where workers are respected, engaged, and supported—because a team, whether in football or in business, can only win when everyone plays with dignity and pride.

“Just as a football team will not succeed when players don’t feel supported, industries will not succeed unless workers feel respected, recognized, and safe.”
